The Admissions season for the 2023-24 school year will began on Monday, November 7, 2022. To apply, review our Registration Instructions. For the online application process, you will need to create an account (current CKS parents: use your existing RenWeb login) in order to submit an online application for the 2023-24 school year.
If you are considering transferring your child(ren) to Christ the King School for the 2022-23 school year, please fill out our Online Application and Authorization for Release of Information (2022-23 school year)
Christ the King School (CKS) is a Parish School and accepts a share of the family’s responsibility to educate children. Therefore, Catholic children of families who have siblings already enrolled in the school will be given preference for enrollment. For children who are first in the family to register for admission, preference will be given to those Catholic children whose parents or guardians are REGISTERED members of Christ the King Parish (CTK).
Admission to Christ the King school will be considered for those children whose parents or guardians submit an application during the stated enrollment period of the school year immediately preceding the year in which the child desires to enroll. Those applicants will be considered for admission whose educational needs can be met by the programs offered at the school and whose parents or guardians agree to support the administrative and academic policies of the school. CKS does not discriminate against students with special needs, if with reasonable accommodations determined solely by Christ the King School, the student can meet the bona fide educational requirements of the school. Students entering Kindergarten must meet State of Kentucky age eligibility requirements, that is, the child must be 5 years of age before August 1 of his kindergarten year.
All applicants are subject to review of past conduct, academic performance, and achievement tests
To apply for admission using our online application, first create an account by filling out the form by visiting the RenWeb portal here. Current CKS families may log in with their existing RenWeb credentials.
Once you have established your account, log into the RenWeb portal and click the button to “Create a New Student Application,” then fill out an application for each child for whom you are seeking admission; there is a preschool-specific and a K-8th-specific application.
Whether uploaded within the online application, or emailed, mailed, or hand-delivered to Christ the King School, the following documentation is required* (PDF format preferred for electronic submissions):
To expedite filling out your application, you should plan to have all required documents available for upload at the time you begin filling out the online application. Please note that your child’s application is not considered complete - even for Priority Registration - until these documents are received by CKS and you have paid the Admissions Application Fee.
Submitting an application grants us permission to receive records, etc., from your child(ren)’s current school. We will not make formal records requests until this coming summer.
Following submission of the application, you will be provided with a link to pay the non-refundable application fee via Square online checkout ($270 for one application, plus $20.00 for the application of each additional child).
Please note that submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. Your Priority Registration lottery number will be used to determine the order of acceptance (lowest to highest number) among applications submitted during the Priority Registration Window, subject to the hierarchy set out below. You will be notified by December 31, 2022, as to whether your child has been accepted, or whether the applicant child has been placed on our waitlist for the grade level and enrollment year applied for. Our available spots for enrollment at each grade level are granted according to the following preference hierarchy:

For students transferring from out-of-state or from a foreign country, please contact the school for additional information.
